Ron HopkinsTectura Applied Engineering Solutions Ron Hopkins has been with Tectura since the company’s inception, his group is focused on developing software solutions to complex business and engineering problems. Ron led the establishment of the Information Systems business area, and championed many of the best practices that produced a high-performing team with an unparalleled record of extremely satisfied customers. As a leader, Ron combines his inclusive and empowering approach with his experience in software development, systems engineering, and project management to provide on-budget, on-time, immediate and long term results to clients. Throughout his 20-year career, Ron has held leadership roles and has worked on large projects including the 777 Airplane development, NATO AWACS upgrade, Iridium satellite phone system development, and the development and operation of several satellite command and control systems. Ron began his career as a software engineer working on aerospace projects at Boeing. After 7 years with Boeing, Ron joined Scitor to help establish the company’s Phoenix office. Prior to joining Scitor Ron focused on aerospace projects for the Department of Defense and commercial sectors. Ron has a Bachelors of Science Degree in Computer Science from Washington State University, and is a recipient of the NASA Astronauts Personal Achievement Award (Silver Snoopy) in 1992. |
