John Matterson

South Asia Operations John Matterson is responsible for all day-to-day business operations across Tectura’s South Asia Business Unit. Just prior to taking on this role, John was in a similar position, accountable for the Tectura Americas Business Unit. He brings more than 20 years of business leadership, consulting, internal systems, and financial management experience.

In addition, he was instrumental in facilitating the 2004 merger between Tectura and Aston Business Solutions, where he was head of North American operations. During his tenure there, in 1999 and 2000, John played a key role in the acquisition of the 16 companies that ultimately formed Aston Business Solutions, North America, and for two years served as a member of the Global Executive Management Board, working to create this leading international mid-market business solutions provider. His vision and determination helped Aston Business Solutions achieve many successful years and capture such prestigious awards as Microsoft Business Solutions Global Partner of the Year and Microsoft Business Solutions U.S. Partner of the Year. John previously had served as an independent consultant, providing training in sales and implementation methodology, strategic planning, and general business strategy. Prior to that role, he had worked as the IT manager for one of Canada's largest forest product companies, directing the management information systems department and spearheading the company’s multimillion-dollar information systems revamping. John is a Certified General Accountant (CGA).
